This dear-gintama blog has been here since the 2nd of January (1st of January in the West coast), I’ve passed the monthsary without knowing it, and February is considered “Love Month,” yes?

So I decided to start the “Dear Gintama” project.

PLEASE READ ON, THIS IS PRETTY IMPORTANT

(IF YOU DON’T WANT TO READ ALL OF IT, IT’S ALL SUMMARIZED AT THE END OF THIS POST)

You guys will record a video or audio and it should contain what you want to say to three people:

1. Hideaki Sorachi (The author of Gintama)
2. Your favorite character
3. The Gintama fandom (Not limited to your friends; I mean the whole Gintama fandom)

I’m not saying that your video/audio post is limited to those three, you may say something to other people, as well. But those three must be present in the post. You can put each in separate posts.

You can choose any language to speak in, whichever language you can speak. However, if you use any language besides English, do add the translation on the description.

This is somewhat important: I want that post to be complete. (I am a completely demanding person, I’m sorry) So I’d advice you to write whatever you want before you act. I’m not going to stick to the “Nothing more; Nothing less” policy, I’ll stick to “Nothing less.”

As for posting/finalizing… I’ve already said that if you do use another language, you must add the translation in the post description. Other than that, please tag “deargintama” so I can see it, and please do send me the link (I might something else for you to reply to with the links as the askboxes do not allow links)

Here’s the sort of complex part.

Since I want other people to know the details, please, in your post, add something that directs to this post or this blog. I want other people to do as this says.

or something like that. It’s not for the purpose of promoting this blog, it’s for the purpose of this project and so that I can see all participants’ posts.

That’s settled.

Project starts tomorrow (February 6) 12:00am GMT+9 (Japan’s timezone) and ends February 27 11:59pm (The last Gintamonday of the month), same timezone.

What to do:

You are to make an audio/video post of you saying something that is directed to three people: Hideaki Sorachi, your favorite character, and the whole Gintama fandom.

You can add more messages to other people, but you can't remove any one of those three from the list. You're free to choose the language you want to use, but you should add the English translation on the description.

I advice you to write everything before saying it as I want it to be complete.
